Washington Wrap Up

Four days in Washington, six Congressional meetings and two gigantic blisters on my feet later, my annual D.C. trip is in the books.

I’ve referenced this before, but the coolest part of travel are the distinct flavors of the city. The fabric of Washington’s food culture is so diverse, reflected in the fact that I stayed and ate in Chinatown without once eating Asian food. We never made it to any of the famed D.C. power steakhouses, but the Cuban, American and Italian-American cuisine we encountered shone well on Nation’s Capital.
